Wildlife 11/07/2011
 
I have a cold, and have decided that sniffles in beautiful weather is just sad.  I also just lost the cleverly written post I was working on about the various places to see some of those quintessential Aussie animals.  So over all, I'm feeling rather pathetic and sorry for myself. 

So please excuse me if I skip over the part where I re-write everything, and just get right to the pictures.  Here are some shots from Taronga Zoo and the Sydney Wildlife Park.

Koalas are NOT bears. Do not call them "koala bears." Aussies get mad about that.

And here we have the back end of a crocodile. It wasn't turning around, and I don't know about you, but I'm not messing with a crocodile!

Last but not least, the mighty hunting cat, Molly! She may not look fierce, but if you're a moth and she gets her paws on you, look out!
